AGATHA CHRISTIE

Agatha Christie is one of the most famous English writers. She was born on the 15th of September in 1890 in England. She did not go to school and got her education at home. Agatha took part in the First World War. She was married two times.

Agatha started writing detective stories in 1920. And soon she became famous as a crime novelist and a short story writer all over the world. She wrote 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections. Agatha Christie wrote about detectives Hercule Poirot and Jane Marple.

Agatha Christie died on the 12th of January 1976 at the age of 85. But her books are still very popular.
