My Flat

My family lives in a 25-storeyed building, on the eighth floor. We have two modern elevators in this building. The big one helps us to lift furniture and other big things. It is very convenient.

There are three rooms in our flat, a kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony.

The largest room is the living room. There is a big sofa where my father always has a rest, 2 armchairs, a small table, a TV set and a modern video-player to watch films which we download from the Internet. We also have got a very good stereo system. When guests come to us we play some music. My father likes French music and my mother likes classical music. I like to play games in our living room on my IPad. But sometimes I use Ipad to read electronic books and to prepare my homework. It is very convenient.

We also have got two computers. In my room I have a computer on my desk.

There are all modern conveniences in our flat: cold and hot running water, electricity, central heating and a telephone.

Electricity is the most important thing for cooking.

In the kitchen we have got a big fridge, a modern electric oven, a toaster, a cooker and an electric teapot to heat water faster.

I like my flat very much.
